Concrete Safety Managers

Effective January 1, 2009, a Concrete Safety Manager shall be designated by the concrete contractor at those sites where the concrete portion of the project involves the pouring of a minimum of 2,000 cubic yards of concrete or such lesser amount as the commissioner may determine by rule.

Safety Inspections and Audits

Safety and health compliance audit and inspections are cost-effective tools for a construction manager.  In such an audit, an experienced Site-Safety coordinator trained to ascertain compliance issues inspects your construction site and recommends corrective action as necessary.  Varying by your needs and the size of your job, the typical safety audit includes a site inspection followed by a bound written report.  The audit report includes digital photographs itemizing the would-be citations and their respective safety code references.  The referenced codes include city, state and federal OSHA regulations.  The report also includes items that can be used as benchmarking data for your company.


Safety Plans and Programs

Homeland Safety prepares and files required plans with the NYC Department of Building, BEST squad. Plans must be filed and approved by the Department of Buildings prior to permits being issued. Key plans are:
