Joseph Albunio
President and CEO

Joe is a seasoned veteran of construction management and the construction safety industry. As a construction manager, builder and developer Joe has successfully completed an impressive array of large scale public and private projects including a major co-generation plant and a 285,000 square foot shopping center. He has held a New York City Department of Building Site Safety Managers license since 1989 and is an OSHA authorized instructor.

As a safety manager, Joe has always incorporated a practical approach to safety based on his common sense knowledge of business. He instills in all of Homeland Safety’s site safety managers an uncompromising ideal of employee safety and a practical sense of project economics. He strongly believes that safety and business profitability support each other.

Joe’s experiences at the World Trade Center disaster site and the noticeable lack of emergency preparedness prompted him to dedicate his professional efforts to the further protection of construction workers and the emergency preparedness of his fellow residents
